  1. I could see myself spinning a yarn or two and looking up and seeing this.
Very very fitting for the Games.

  2. I see you reached the inner courtyards of the Mouseion and its wonderful gardens. I wonder if I could pluck a leaf to use in my stew next time?

The pink magnolias were also beautiful this spring. :-)

  7. Hi Monica,
Now where in the City of Port Phillip do we have a BAY LAUREL…….its not called Bay because it grows near the sea is it……
I can’t find it in my Garden book of Trees
I have the Japanese Laurel which grows to about 4 metres …..
Your one looks like a bigger tree and mine is a varigted leaf form …

Beautiful …angie has Bay trees which she keeps clipped into big rounds
the Garden Nursery in Middle Park said they would be worth at $3000 each and she has 4 of them in the front garden along the fence line quite beautiful………

  8. I love laurel trees for obvious reasons (Lori = germanic version of Laurel).
