Fantasy Quiltie
This quiltie measures 5″ x 5″ and is my own design hand-painted on silk which I then hand quilted. My interpretation of the theme Fantasy for a swap on a textiles group. This is the third quiltie I have done so far and am fast becoming addicted to this small textile art form.

I can appreciate why you have become addicted Jill. This art form must be very gratifying. Alter the colours and this would have an Australian, indigenous feel. The colours you have used work perfectly.

How expressive your figure is! Love the constant diversity here at Soul Food and the opportunity to admire wonderful works of art in different forms. Quilties must be a good way to learn the basics of quilting.

Splendid work – it has a misty soft look yet is so vibrant and well defined.
