Manipulated Polaroid

Mexican Saguaro Manipulated Polaroid

This is another example of a Polaroid Integral print. First I manipulated the exposure, then moved it into Photshp Elements for further manipulation. I feel it resembles a crude but effective wall hanging, something that I imagine might be found in an nineteenth century prairie homestead.

This has a Georgia O’Keeffe quality about it. And the texturization is a nice touch.

Thank you, Lori. It was fun playing with this one. It’s amazing what can be achieved with Photoshop. The very will-o’-the-wisp quality of the Polaroid print provides the perfect platform from which to begin the manipulation.

Vi, this is really neat. I love the texture you have created in this photo.
