blue glass rondelle

In Praise of Blue

by Kerry Vincent (c) 2008

Glorious blues,

those luscious hues:

Sweet cerulean,

sensuous saffire,

wistful wisteria,

delightful delphium,

precious Prussian,

mysterious marine,

calming cobalt,

alluring azure,

inviting indigo,

lovely lapis lazuli,

pale morning sky:

In my best dreams

I always dream in blue.

  4. I’ve seen some weird things ( yeah really ) and it always seems like blue is the color I’d attatch to those moments.

  9. Kerry, blue is definitely beautiful. I just bought a new comforter in what they call River Rock Blue and it reminds of the soft blue and smooth river stones you find in mountain streams. Loved your poem — made me really feel blue ;-)
