The Soul Food Cafe

The Soul Food Cafe, established in 1999, was created and is maintained solely by Heather Blakey. The Soul Food Cafe is now a large vault which testifies to just what can be achieved when an individual provides a space and welcomes others to share that space. The Pythian Games is a collaborative blog that belongs to the Soul Food Cafe and is used by members of this community.

The Pythian Games

The Pythian Games took place at Delphi every four years. The festival not only involved athletic contests but included musical competitions and drama. Here at Soul Food you can train for the Pythian Games by working out in the Solarium and Gymnasium and by making full use of the team bloggers that are associated with the site.

The Soul Food Cafe has been free since 1999. It has, however, incurred substantial annual costs, little of which have been recouped by Heather Blakey. Until 2009 entry to Lemuria has been free. Now, to work with le Enchanteur there is a monthly fee of $20. If you wish to work within this sanctuary and mingle with long standing members contact heatherblakey at fastmail dot fm. Entry to Lemuria is strictly by application and approval.

Roads Much Travelled

The 2006 Adventure Calendar preserved one of the Lemurian Journey's with Enchanteur. Likewise, the journey of the heart, along the Soul Food Silk Road was preserved after work completed in 2005. You can find links to the collection of the Soul Food Cafe Advent Calendars housed at Squidoo.

Soul Food Cafe Community

The Rookery features the work of a group of inter generational, international, creative women who have worked in Lemuria with Heather Blakey, gaining their 'raven wings' in the process.
